About Xelf Fitness Studio
Xelf is the word flex spelled backwards. Lasting results only come from within, but most people approach it backwards, looking for a solution outside of themselves. While our name may be flex backwards, our approach is straightforward. Xelf Fitness is your foundation to becoming an Empowered Exerciser.
When you step foot into our studio, you quickly learn that your results have everything to do with your relationship with exercise and who you become as an empowered exerciser. The Xelf Fitness philosophy is as follows:

An empowered exerciser isn’t the strongest or fastest, or the most muscular and the leanest. They are anyone who exercises consistently year-round and does so because he or she wants to. An empowered exerciser is anyone who has learned to use exercise as a vehicle that helps them love life more.
Regular physical activity is a major component of living an enjoyable active lifestyle. Part of what prohibits you from enjoying physical activities as you age is that your body becomes more limited, stiff and restricted than it once was—this is commonly due to lack of regular physical exertion. Physical activity gives your body a chance to move, lubricate itself and enjoy exercise without being confined to a rigid routine. The physical activity you partake in are dependent on the season, your mood, and most importantly what you truly enjoy doing. This is why we teach that functional resistance training is your foundation to living an active life. When motivation is consistent with resistance training, it is greatly enhanced when tied to an enjoyable physical activity.
